Winter has seemed to last forever with abnormally low temperatures and even snow. Yesterday there was a glimpse of hope that Spring may be around the corner. The first daffodils bloomed. They're late by a few weeks this year but two different varieties popped on the same day.
My neighbor's yellow crocus are blooming, too.
Could it be that Georgia's groundhog, General Beauregard Lee, was right when he predicted an early spring? I sure hope so!!
