Well, it’s that time of year when the hummers are swarming. They visit the hummingbird feeder almost non-stop, draining the sweet nectar in record time. I see them hovering at the salvia and lantana, too. They’re quick, though. But luckily I managed to finally get a picture of one in flight sipping nectar from a Cat’s Whisker flower. I guess I was in the right place at the right time—at last!!
What a great picture of the hummingbird. It's amazing how they can hover and feed, and make it look entirely effortless. Great camera action shot!!
